Week5_Day2

Today, Johnson and Johnson was here but they did not present. Two of our team member was not present and we are confused. So we found out that demo day was on Tuesday, Planning  how can we start a demo without no code leverage. After we talked amongst each other we decided to talk about what should we do on the documentation. During that night we got ripped by our professor, but everything he said was correct, what he said that night is exactly how I felt when weeks were going by and my team was not making any progress. We have a lot of dysfunction in the group, and the fault is not based on anyone but the team as a whole.

Week5_Day1

Today, I did not work on any of my code during class due to the presentation of QAD. He spoke about many laws that were interesting. He talked about trade marks, copy rights, and compared some of the laws of how are they different and how to understand the laws. But after class I continue on working on finding a API to allow team 4 to move on with the coding part of our project.

Week4_Day2

Today we continue working on our project, we learned how to use test.py how to kill programs by using -9 kill #. and by typing ps -ef | grep test. I can see what is running under test. Also we learned how to use github by pulling and pushing documents. It was pretty interesting also easy to do, it allowed us to grab and post documents through linux without actually having to go to a physical website and post and download documents.

Week4_Day1

Today we got test.py and add2numbers working. After I got it working I made sure my teammates got it working. It was exciting actually getting some code to work. I believe that now that we got some start on the coding all we have to do is tweak it a little and make it work the way we want it to. The only problem we are having now is how are we going to predict the price of the houses in 5 years. Well it seems like the time is going by and we are still on the first step, we need to step the game up before it's too late.

Week3_Day2

So today we got some head start, we are now working on individual assignments, I took on the sql tables and entities, (crud), while Yan took on API, demetri took on JWT, Sheena got kerbs and logging, and lastly, Conner was working on web services. We plan to do everything and get have something to show Joe. The stress level I had is lowered because we have something to show. I hope the good work keeps up and we will finish this project.

Week3_Day1

Today I was so worried that I couldn't get jwt working and was very afraid to receive another zero. The they prior today I spoke with team members on how their parts are going and they did not make any progress. As days go by I can see some team members that did not contribute yet. Maybe they are still confused on what to do and how to do it. Lately I did some research on jwt, I found websites exactly the same that a fellow classmate presented today. I did not understand how he installed the files into python. I downloaded the files and did not know what to do with them. As of today we did make progress due to examples Joe and fellow classmates has shared with the class. So today I understand that I need to create more tables into mysql, also do more research on getting jwt working.

Week2_Day2

Today was tragic, because my team was still in the process of coming up with a topic. We had no codes written. So we receive 0 for class contribution. As Joe discuss more in depth about the project my team and I are figuring out how to come up with some code to receive credit. But at the end of the lecture we still did not come up with anything. So at the end of the class we decided that 2 people will work on JSON, 2 people will work on kerberos, and 1 person will work on web services.

Week2_Day1

Today my team and I thought of the idea of creating a watch or bracelet as a baby monitor. And we decided to go talk to Joe about the topic. We was told that the topic was totally irrelevant. He reemphasizes that the project is a predict solution; it has to predict something. So we went back to our seats and by that time class period was close to an end. Teammates had other stuff to do; such as, going to work, go to club meetings, etc... So we decided that each person should come up with a topic and as a team we will choose one.
